Likes: Rocking with mommy 

Squealing at the top of your lungs

Reaching for EVERYTHING-and then putting it straight in your mouth

Being on your tummy (your new thing is trying to roll over every time we change your diaper)

Kicking your feet

Going shopping, on walks, etc.  Anything that involves people watching in your stroller

When people say Hi to you in the store

Chewing on your fingers

Penny (our kitty)...whenever you get to pet her you giggle!

Bathtime (that is your special time with Daddy-he gets to give you your baths in the sink)

Falling asleep in the car

Sleeping more than 45 minutes for your naps! (yay!)

Sleeping with your blanky (I know, I know...not supposed to have anything "loose" in the crib-but she has to have something to cuddle with and pull up to her face-just like her cousin laney used to do! :) )

Sitting in your Bumbo chair

Being tickled (well, I don't know how much you like that one, but I love watching you giggle!!) You are ticklish on your little riblets and on your back ( just like mama)

Dislikes: When you can't reach a toy

When you play with one thing for too long  you get bored..I have to stay on top of switching them out! :)

Being swaddled :( Last night was the first time you slept without a swaddler.   You kept breaking free from it in the middle of the night and waking yourself up...so we decided to see how you would do without one.  Your Daddy and I were a little teary-eyed about this!

Well...I'm sitting here trying to think of more things you don't like, but I can't! You are such a joy to be around, and are a pretty relaxed little girl! (yay!)

  You're not a little bitty baby anymore.  You are growing so fast!  

AND...you have HAIR!  It is coming in on top and is very blonde so you still look bald because it's hard to see :).  We also tried to give you some big girl food to see how you would like it.  You had a weird face every time I gave you more-and in order to swallow you sucked on your fingers.  I think we'll wait a little longer before trying some more ;)

It's Christmas card time! And this cute family wanted me to take their Christmas card photo.  I won't be posting the actual photo they used for their card...that one will be a surprise until you get it in the mail ;) Or until Jenna posts it on her blog here-which I'm sure she will! 

Jenna is usually the one behind the camera (like me), so she asked if I would take some family pictures for her. OF COURSE I WOULD! :::did she even have to ask?:::

When Jill, Garrett and Delaney were here visiting from "Tecus" (as Laney puts it) I got to do a family photo shoot of them! Here are some of my favorites.

I love Christmastime, and even more so now that I have this little one to spoil :)

How cute is she!? I had a fun photo shoot with her this week.  I wanted something Christmas-y.  So I found some extra lights, put some ornaments around her, and plopped this cute little Santa hat on her head :)

 I am going to start the same tradition with her that my mom did with my sister and I (and still does).  Each year my mom would pick out a special Christmas-themed book for us ( they were always different from each other's), and she always wrote a special note in each one with the date of the Christmas she gave it to us.  So right now I have around 24 Christmas books (maybe even a few more that I snatched from my parent's own collection:)) to share with my little girl. I need to go to a book store and peruse their selections.  I'm thinking Elf on the Shelf may be at the top of my list...or maybe I will save that one for when she can really understand it and get excited about it :) We shall see!  Until then, here are some more fun pictures of my Charleigh Grace.

Tomorrow...4 days later

Well, in my last post I said that I would continue my photo challenge photos "tomorrow".  Apparently tomorrow around here means almost a week ;)  I've been busy trying to get the house all decorated for Christmas and keeping my little one occupied!  So here are a couple more days of my photo challenge...I can only edit a couple before Charleigh wakes up from her nap-hence only a couple of days at a time.  I got a little behind when I went home-but it was well worth neglecting my blog to hang out with my family :)

Last night we went to the San Luis Christmas Parade! Charleigh enjoyed it!  She liked all of the lights and music...and snuggling with her Daddy.  He kept her nice and warm!  It was a fun outing for our little family.  I forgot my camera though-the only pictures I caught were on my phone.  But the memory is there-and that's always better than a picture anyway, right? ;)
